Medium density fiberboard is made of wood fiber or other plant fiber as raw material, applied with urea-formaldehyde resin or other synthetic resin, and pressed under heating and pressure conditions. Additives to improve sheet properties. MDF has good physical and mechanical properties and processing properties, and can be made into boards of different thicknesses, so it is widely used in furniture manufacturing, construction, and interior decoration. MDF is a homogeneous porous material with good acoustic properties and is a good material for making speakers, TV casings and musical instruments. In addition, it can also be used for ships, vehicles, sports equipment, floors, wall panels, partitions, etc. instead of natural wood. It has the characteristics of low cost, simple processing, high utilization rate and more economical than natural wood.

Medium density fiberboard is a man-made board made of branch wood, small-diameter wood, fast-growing wood and bamboo and other plant raw materials with limited wood resources. Implementation of the development strategy.

1. The internal structure is uniform, the density is moderate, the dimensional stability is good, and the deformation is small.

2. Physical and mechanical properties such as static bending strength, internal bonding strength, elastic modulus, board surface and board edge holding screw force are better than particleboard.
3. The surface is smooth and smooth, which is convenient for secondary processing. It can be pasted with rotary-cut veneer, sliced veneer, painted paper, impregnated paper, and can also be directly painted and printed for decoration.
4. MDF has a larger width, and the thickness of the board can be changed in the range of 2.5 to 35mm, and can be produced according to different purposes.
5. Good machining performance, sawing, drilling, tenoning, groove milling, sanding and other processing properties are similar to wood, and some are even better than wood.
6. It is easy to carve and mill into furniture parts of various profiles and shapes, and the processed special-shaped edges can be directly painted and other finishing treatments without sealing the edges.

7. Water repellent, fire retardant, preservative and other chemicals can be added in the production process of MDF to produce MDF for special purposes.
